What if the time I asked for is taken?
Callio asks what else they have and brings the options back. It doesn't lock you into a different slot on its own, unless your request said it could.
Do they know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. On booking calls Callio says so up front, and it never claims to be a person. The business is agreeing to a booking with full knowledge of what made the call.
Can it give them my phone number for the booking?
Yes. A booking needs a way to confirm, so Callio gives them the number saved in your profile if they ask for one. The call itself still comes from Callio's line, and on calls that only ask a question they get no number at all.
Which businesses can it call?
US local businesses you find on Google Maps, where a person answers the phone. Salons, garages, vets, clinics, shops. Not national hotlines or systems that ask for an account number.
