Can Callio book a table for me?
Yes. Tell Callio the time and party size and it calls the restaurant to request the reservation, then sends back what they said. If anything needs your input, like a deposit for a large party, you'll see it in the summary and can decide.
Can Callio order takeout for me?
Callio calls ahead and gets you the details, takeout options, prices, and how long an order will take, so you can order knowing exactly what to expect. You give the final go-ahead and pay, which keeps you in control of what you're buying.
Can it call about a large party or private event?
It can call to ask whether they host larger parties or private events and what the next step is. These often need a deposit or an events coordinator, so Callio brings back the details and you take it from there.
Can Callio ask about allergies or dietary options?
Yes. Add it to your request, like “ask if they have gluten-free pasta,” and Callio will ask on the call and include the answer in your summary.
Can Callio ask if a restaurant is pet-friendly?
Yes. Add it to your request, like “ask if they allow dogs on the patio,” and Callio will check on the call and include the answer in your summary.
Will the restaurant get my phone number?
For a booking, yes. They need a way to confirm, so Callio gives them the number saved in your profile if they ask for one. The call still comes from Callio's line, so your number is never their caller ID, and on a call that just asks a question they get no number at all.
Does the restaurant know it's an AI?
Callio's assistant never pretends to be you or to be a person. It identifies itself as an AI when asked, and says so up front on any call where it's making or changing a reservation or appointment for you.
