Callio lets you delete your account and associated data directly in the app. This page describes how to do it, what is removed, and what is retained.
How to delete your Callio account
To delete your Callio account:
- Open the Callio app.
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings → Data Management.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm your deletion request.
After you confirm, your Callio account and most associated data are deleted immediately, and the operation typically completes within a few minutes. Certain records may be anonymized and retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Subscriptions: please read before deleting
If you have an active Stripe subscription (Android or Web), it is automatically canceled when your account is deleted.
Apple App Store subscriptions are not canceled automatically. Apple does not allow third-party apps to cancel App Store subscriptions on your behalf. If you subscribed through the App Store, please cancel separately in your App Store subscription settings before deleting your account, or you may continue to be charged.
Refunds, where applicable, are handled by the App Store or Stripe according to their own policies.
What data is permanently deleted
When your Callio account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Account profile information
- Login-related account identifiers
- Call requests, call instructions, and call plans
- Call history and call records
- Call summaries and call transcripts
- Target business phone numbers used for your calls
- Chat conversations and messages
- Usage records
- Feedback you submitted
- Notification tokens and rate-limit records
What data is anonymized and retained
Some records are kept in anonymized form, with your account identifier removed, for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, and dispute-resolution purposes:
- Subscription events
- Payment, refund, and dispute records from payment processors and app stores, such as Stripe and Apple
- Security and abuse-prevention logs
These anonymized records are retained for up to 7 years, or longer only where specifically required by applicable law, after which they are deleted.
Processing time
Account deletion runs immediately when you confirm in the app and typically finishes within a few minutes. Anonymized records described above are retained only for as long as required for the purposes listed.
